Our shark diving tours usually depart from Playa del Carmen or Puerto Morelos, depending on the season and shark type. Cancun guests are welcome, but dives may take place in surrounding areas to ensure top encounters.
Do I need a scuba certification?
Yes, for bull shark diving, you need an Open Water certification. For whale shark tours, no certification is required since they involve snorkeling only.
When is the best time to see sharks?
Whale shark season is June–September, while bull sharks are seen November–February. Exact availability varies yearly depending on ocean conditions.
